Early Break are offering 30 minute learn and lunch sessions to professionals in Oldham who work with children and families focusing on THC vapes and Ketamine use and information about referrals into their service. 

Across Oldham the Early Break Service have seen a steep increase in referrals for cannabinoid use – this includes cannabis and nontraditional use such as edibles. THC (Tetra Hydro Cannabinol, the main psychoactive in cannabis) liquid and liquid that is being mis sold as THC oil thought to be synthetic (also known as Spice).

Of the 93 referrals recently received 73 were linked to cannabis (78%).
